Our Nana, Freda, was a lovely woman, who never had a bad word to say about anyone.
She lived to the grand old age of 84. Nana suffered from dementia at the end, but she never forgot
me, my sister linda or her great grandchildren Josh and Erin.
She never did get over loosing dad in 2005, he used to go and see her everyday without fail, and do
her shopping for her. She was lost when he died, and quickly went down hill.
One day she had a fall in the care home she was staying in, and sadly died in hospital. It was too
much for her to take. Linda and David, and Mark and I, all went to see her, she passed away the
morning after. I think she was hanging on to say goodbye to us.
we really do miss you nana, just picking up the phone to tell you all our news.
But you are with Grandad, Dad and now Erin. We know she will keep you on your toes.
I will never forget the christmas days we spent with you, they were some of our best christmas's
ever.
Love and miss you lots nana, rest in peace xxxxx

my nan

you left us quietly,

your thoughts unknown,

but left us a memory

we are proud to own,

so treasure them lord,

in your garden of rest

for when on earth,

they were the very best.

love you nan xxx

If Roses Grow in Heaven

If roses grow in Heaven Lord
Please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Nana's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it everyday,
But there is an ache within my heart
That will never go away.

As we loved you, so we miss you;
In our memory you are near.
Loved, remembered, longed for always.
Bringing many a silent tear.

Your heart was the dearest in the world.
Your love the best to recall.
For no one on earth could take your place.
You are still the dearest of all.

Love and miss you lots xxxxxx

`•. Dear Angel........

If we could only speak to you,
And hold your loving hand,
No matter what we said or did,
We know you'd understand.

Memory is a lovely lane,
Where hearts are ever true,
A lane we so often travel down,
Because it leads to you.

Sadly missed along life's way,
Quietly remembered every day,
No longer in our lives to share,
But in our hearts you're always there.

Your presence we miss,
Your memory we treasure,
Loving you always,
Forgetting you never.

You made this world a better place
In your own special way
Your still loved so very much
And missed each and every day

Your leaving caused a lot of tears
And so much grieving too
It was the hardest thing of all
Saying goodbye to you

You gave your love until one day
You heard those angels call
And above us now in heaven
Lives the best nana of them all

My special Nana

My special Nana
Ive made this poem with love and care
Expecially for you to share
I know you will read it...
In heaven above
Read it slow...
'cos its full of my love

I miss you so much...
I just cannot say
And I think of you night and day

You will always be my precious one
Keep shining bright
Just like the sun

When you recieve my poem above
Just remember its full of my love
I sealed the envelope with a kiss
For my special Nana...
That I love and miss.
